1877 Indian Head Cent
The 1877 Indian Head Cent has the second lowest mintage of the series behind the 1909-S and is considered one of the key date coins. It also boasts the lowest mintage for any Indian Cent struck at the Philadelphia Mint. Even though it only has the second lowest mintage it is actually scarcer, since not as many examples were saved. The date is particularly difficult to locate in gem, especially with full red luster.
